Top cleaned up ready for veneer

Another project…half done.  My aunt sent me this table.  Just refinished the base.  The top veneer was gorgeous but really couldn’t be saved.  So now I have a new adventure…veneering.  Ordered burl walnut and will attempt to book match the top and make it as close to the original as possible.  Veneer should be in tomorrow. Should be interesting… results to follow.
