I decided to build myself a workbench, so I thought I’d practice my mortise and tenon joint by making a mallet.  These handmade joints I’ve been trying lately are a first for me.  Never did much woodworking before, but I’ve really been into old school craftsmanship and how things were made so beautifully with so little.  It takes sharp tools… which is something I’m also trying to figure out in the process.  Used more locust from an old fence post.  Also tuned up the chisel.  I will use both on my workbench, hopefully in the near future.
