Guitar neck from my friends porch

Spent most of my day in the shop.

While I was waiting for glue on rosette pieces to dry, I figured I’d try to make a neck.  Used mahogany from my friends porch.  Hardest part was scraping the glue off.  Planed to size.  Cut  and planed a 15 degree scarf joint for the headstock.  Glued up.  Still need to cut and glue on the heel block.

Bought a humidifier.  Shop is at 40+% humidity.  Brought all the wood for the guitar in to aclimate.  Now it should get interesting.
