Peghead veneer

More guitar progress… over the past week.

Used the band saw to cut some veneer slices off of a figured part of the big walnut board.  Book matched and scraped flat to about .050” for headstock veneers.  Clamped and laminated to the headstocks.  May have gone overboard with the clamps?

Planed to a taper and started finishing the profile.  Sawed the heel block to receive the sides with a back saw and rough cut the heel profile on the band saw.

Next post… using my aluminum drill fixture and why I needed sharp chisels.
