Sides on guitar one

Sides glued up on number one. Bent the sides for number two.
The little notches in the kerfing are for vertical braces. This should take out some of the ripples in the side.
After bending the second set, which had more quartered grain, I realized that the rippling in the first is strictly due to the more flat sawn grain. There are no ripples in set 2.
But I will put those braces on both. They strengthen the rim and I’d like to make both guitars as close as possible.
Should be interesting to see if there is any difference in sound. Minus a change in neck construction, the only real variation at this point is the soundboard on one is just a bit thicker than the other.
