Lots of trial and error, but I’m starting to see results. Maybe I’ll half know what I’m doing when its time to start the french polish on guitar number two. Still a long way to go though.
Taking a break today. Found a local luthier on a forum who cuts tonewood from downed local trees. Going for a visit and will probably come home with some prizes. I know he has locust, maple and walnut, but I’m hoping for sycamore and cherry too. Taking guitar number two for the outing and a critique. Should be fun.
