Just a little time waster

Built a mechanical pencil holder for my sketchbook last night. Used some plastic extrusion and elastic. Nice 30 minute project. It will adjust to other sizes and the band holds papers nicely inside the cover. As my high school science teacher said, “People… What are you going to do in the big city without your notebook?”

Plaster green man

So this is a detail of the plaster in one of the ceilings in the house. Kind of a take on the green man. I’ve done a bit of research on the symbolism, but don’t find too much, especially concerning the horns. If anyone can enlighten me I’d appreciate it.
